With heartfelt gratitude, I want to thank you for your years of unwavering support for ParentJobNet.

 

When I founded ParentJobNet in 2004, my vision was to help NYC public school single mothers build financial security at home so their children could succeed academically. Nearly two decades later—after 16 nonprofit and community excellence awards, hundreds of job connections, and serving over 16,000 parents—our mission has empowered families with self-worth, self-sufficiency, and the ability to create brighter futures for their children. The impact of this work will continue to ripple through generations.

 

To build upon this legacy, POP Social Enterprise, LLC has been established to address a growing need: unrestricted funding for nonprofits that support families and strengthen communities. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges nonprofits face in securing essential operating funds, we launched this new initiative as a hybrid social enterprise.

 

Our mission is to bridge the gap between nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies, fostering impactful partnerships that drive real change and create mutual benefits for local communities.  By uniting these sectors around shared goals, we can build thriving communities together.

 

We are incredibly grateful to our donors, public school and university partners, business collaborators, elected officials, interns, volunteers, and everyone who has contributed their time, resources, and passion to ParentJobNet’s success.  Your support has been invaluable, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you in this new chapter.
